RAF Sea King search and rescue helicopter, call-sign 'Rescue 25', from 1564 Flight based in the Falkland Islands, has executed a long range rescue of a fisherman 200 nautical miles (370km) east of the islands. The seriously ill fisherman had a suspected lacerated bowel and septicaemia and was stretcher-winched from the vessel 'Jacqueline' in heavy seas and delivered to Stanley hospital.
