One of the Royal Navy's brand new warships, HMS Daring, has paid her first visit to her affiliated island of Guernsey since completing her maiden deployment. The Type 45 destroyer took part in commemorations for a wartime naval tragedy and invited islanders on board during three days anchored in the waters off St Peter Port. The picture shows her anchored in a channel of water known as the Little Russel. [Picture: Copyright Chris George - Coast Media, 2012]
