Members of 23 Engineer Regiment (Air Assault) were greeted by cheering crowds as they paraded through Woodbridge last week. Some 180 soldiers 'with swords drawn, bayonets fixed, drums beating, bands playing and colours flying' exercised their freedom of the town, with music from the Band of the Parachute Regiment. The Mayor of Woodbridge, Councillor Patti Mulcahy, and Deputy Commander of 16 Air Assault Brigade, Colonel Jacko Jackson, took the salute. [Picture: Corporal Obi Igbo, Crown copyright]
